Compliance! Where do you start? Ever wish documentation was easier to manage and monitor? This five-day event will provide federal grant administrators, leaders, directors, and business managers with the tools and knowledge for success throughout the school year. Participants will develop and refine their skills to analyze documentation for the essential components and enhance leaders’ understanding of how to meet compliance with a step-by-step process.

Title I Program Compliance Academy. This will include training on how to understand, manage, and effectively monitor Title I program compliance documentation for each of the following Title I requirements: Comprehensive Needs Assessment, Schoolwide Plan (D/CIP), Parents' Right to Know, Federal School Report Card, Annual Title I Meeting, School/Parent Compact, School/Parent Compact during Parent/Teacher Conferences, Parent & Family Engagement Policy, Value & Utility of Working with Parents-Staff Training, Title I Program Evaluation, Public Notice of Intent to Apply for ESSA Programs, and Private Non-Profit Schools. Registration costs include a free copy of the book “Compliance by Design” with access to the Digital Documents Drive.
Title I Fiscal Compliance Academy. This will include training on Title I fiscal compliance to include eligibility, Rank & Serve, Comparability, Supplement Not Supplant Methodology, Maintenance of Effort, Procurement, District Reservations, REAP/Transferability, Equitable Services for Private Non-Profit schools Title I allocations, allowable use of funds, Title I budget codes, and much more. Title II Compliance Academy. This training will provide attendees with knowledge and skills on how to understand, plan, coordinate, manage, and monitor Title II compliance requirements with useful templates, checklists, and forms to ensure your success: Title II Comprehensive Professional Development Plan, Allowable uses of funds, Class-size reduction, Professional Development, Travel Reimbursement, Title II Private Non-Profit Schools, Memorandums of Understanding, Contract Management, Procurement, Title II job descriptions and Time & Effort reporting, Budgeting and Allocations, Title II funds for Teacher Mentoring & Induction Programs or Teacher & Principal Resident Programs, Teacher and Staff Recruitment and Retention, Requests for Proposals/Qualifications, and much more. Title III Compliance Academy. This training will include training on how to understand, manage, and effectively monitor Title III program compliance documentation for each of the following Title III requirements: Eligibility/Student Identification, Language Proficiency Assessment Committee-Monitor EL Achievement, Language Instruction Education Program/Comprehensive Needs Assessment, Schoolwide Plan/Title III Local Plan, Comprehensive Professional Development Plan, Annual Title I Meeting, School/Parent Compact, Compact review during Parent/Teacher Conferences (Elementary Only), Parent & Family Engagement Policy, Staff Quality/Parents’ Right to Know, Federal School Report Card, Program Evaluation, and Private Non-Profit Schools.
Title IV Compliance Academy. This training will teach you how to integrate and coordinate Title IV within other ESSA programs such as Title I, Title ~ and Title III programs. This training provides information on the following topics that will boost knowledge of compliance requirements and understand how to effectively manage and monitor Title IV throughout the school year: Well-Rounded Education, Safe & Healthy Students, Effective Uses of Technology, allowable and unallowable uses of funds, Comprehensive Needs Assessment, Title IV District/Campus Improvement Plan strategies and activities, Time & Effort reporting, Title IV job descriptions and work schedules, Private Non-Profit Schools equitable services, administrative costs, required policies, documentation, social emotional learning, school safety and security, school based mental health, instructional technology, enrichment activities, REAP/Transferability, how to process expenditure requests, budgeting, administrative procedures, procurement, supplement not supplant, EDGAR requirements, program evaluation, and much more.
